CARE & MAINTENANCE
Your PearlArc sink has been treated with a three-stage surface process to create a smooth, coloured, and durable finish.
Since the kitchen sink is one of the most-used spots in the home — from food prep to dishwashing to cleaning pots and pans — the surface will naturally develop a patina over time, showing the story of its daily use.
DAILY CLEANING
- Wipe with a soft cloth, warm water, and dishwashing liquid.
- Rinse and dry after use to maintain its smooth finish.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or heavy-duty scouring pads.
DEEP CLEANING & CONDITIONING
For occasional deeper cleaning, use Zomodo Conditioning Oil (or mineral oil) with a soft cloth:
- Apply a thin layer of oil to the sink surface.
- Rub gently in a circular motion to remove build-up of food fats or residue.
- Wipe off excess oil with paper towel.
- For stubborn spots, use a soft nylon pad (not steel wool).
Note: The sink has a nano-resin non-stick layer. Aggressive scrubbing may remove this coating — it won’t damage the sink, but it may affect the smooth outer finish.
WHAT TO AVOID
To protect your PearlArc finish, do not use:
Harsh Chemicals:
- pH 0–1 (e.g. hydrochloric acid, battery acid)
- pH 14 (e.g. sodium hydroxide, drain cleaner)
Abrasive Cleaners:
- e.g. Vim, gritty powders
Long Exposure to Liquids (48+ hours):
- Low pH (lemon juice, vinegar)
- High pH (bleach, ammonia)
Always rinse the sink after contact with acidic or alkaline liquids.
